The latest edition of the popular Mini Full Tilt Online Poker Series is set to get underway this week; details, schedules and more below. If you’re not familiar, Mini-FTOPS is just what it sounds like – a scaled down version (in terms of buy ins) of the regular FTOPS. Everything else about the series is the same, more or less – it’s just 1/10th the buy in of the regular FTOPS. So, for example, the Main Event of the FTOPS carries with it a $500 buy in; the main event of the Mini-FTOPS will set you back $50. The MFTOPS is a great way for players interested in a wide variety of tournaments to get a chance to play all types of formats, variations and the like in a compact series against a much larger field of opponents than some of these tournaments would normally attract on their own.
