Madsen takes down a tourney, and play money at PartyPoker is still causing a stir. We’re already ready for our Super Bowl party, so we put together today’s PTPN Hit and Run.

The amount of outrage expressed about PartyPoker’s new policy to limit the amount of “play money” chips a player can have has been voluminous. Really, who knew that taking away play money could stir such passion? Story here at pokernewsdaily.com, where an “industry insider” basically tells people to get over it. Some people are likely mad because it will be more difficult to sell play money chips, since it’s more difficult to stockpile them. And some people just like having a lot of play money, we guess.
Some lol chat from Gus Hansen in a thread over at 2+2, in which he and “urindanger” have some back and forth. Read it here. Gus also says that he always has his observer chat on, which should definitely make the railbirds at Full Tilt Poker calm down.
